WILL OF ANNE STARY, NEEN SOLLARS, 1713

 

In the name of God Amen I Anne Starie of Neen Sollars in the County of Salop and Dyocese of Hereford being weake in body but of good and perfect memory praised be God for the same doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following (vizt) First I bequeath my soule into the hands of Allmighty God my maker hopeing through the meritorious death and passion of Jesus Christ my Saviour and Redeemer to receive free pardon and foregiveness for all my sinns and my body to be buryed in Christyein buriall at the discretion of my executor hereafter named. Item I give and bequeath unto my sister Elizabeth Hooper that parcell of meadowe ground being in the parish of Baighton commonly called or knowne by the name of Sylssy Close to have and to hold for her use and disposall for ever. Item I give and bequeath unto my cousen Margaret English the sume of fifty pounds. Item I give and bequeath unto my brother Benjamin Stary's daughter Elizabeth the sume of seventy pounds and to his daughter Margaret the sume of ten pounds and to his daughter Jane the sume of ten pounds. Item I give and bequeath unto my couzen Edward Taylor the sume of five pounds. Item I give & bequeath unto my couzen Margaret Taylor the sume of five pounds. I give and bequeath unto my couzen Eleanor Hooper the sume of five pounds. Item I give and bequeath unto my cousen William English the sume of five pounds. Item all the rest undisposed of in my life time I give and bequeath unto my brother Benjamin Starie whom I make Executor of this my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the fourteenth day of April anno d[o]m[ini] 1713. The marke of Anne Starie.
