WILL OF JOHN STARIE, BURFORD, 1745

 

In God's Name I John Starie of the Redford in the parish of Burford in the County of Salop Gent being of disposing mind do make this my last Will and Testament in manner following. I give devise and bequeath unto my loving wife Anne all my estate called the Redford with all other my real and personal estates whatsoever and wheresoever to hold to her my said wife her heirs hects[?] and adm[inistra]t[or]s for ever. In witness whereof I have hereunto put my hand and seal this twenty ninth day of November in the year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred and forty three the mark of John Starie Signed sealed published and declared to be the last Will and Testament of the said John Starie in the presence of us who subscribed our names as witnesses in his sight and presence Charels Nash John West John Jones Chas Holland.

On the 30th of July 1745 lice[ence]s of ad[ministra]con of the goods chattels and credits of John Starie with his last Will and Testament annexed were granted by the worshipful Edward Wynn Doctor of Laws Vicar General and so forth to Anne Starie the relict of the deceased and universal legatee named in the said Will (there being no Executor named therein) she being first sworn on the Holy Evangelists faithfully to fulfil the same and so forth.
