of the reine of our sovereine lady Queene Elizabeth & in the year
of our lord God 1577 I John Stirry of Rewarden in the county of
Glocester being sick in body but thankes be unto God of good & sound
memory do make & ordeine this my last will & testament
in manner & forme folowing that is to say first I bequeth
my soulle to Almighty God my master & redemer & my body to be
buryeed within my parish & church of church now of Rewardene
