WILL OF RICHARD STARY, LINDRIDGE, 1715/16

 

In the name of God Amen I Richard Stary of the parish of Lindridge in the County of Worcester yeoman being weak of body but of sound & perfect disposeing mind and memory praised be God for the same doe make and ordaine this my last Will & Testament in manner and forme following. And first I give & bequeath my soule to Allmighty God that gave it me and my body to the earth to be decently buryed at the discretion of my Executix herein after named. Itm I give and bequeath to my loveing wife all my Coseyhold estate in Lindridge aforesaid to hold to her from and after my decease for and dureing her natural life and from and after our deceased I give and bequeath the same to my son Richard Stary his heires and assignes forever according to the customs of Lindridge Mannor. All the rest residue and remainder of my personall estate goods cattel & chattells of what nature or kind soever I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Stary and doe hereby constitute nominate & appoint her sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all formr Wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto put my hand and seal the one and twentieth day of October in the eleaventh yeare of the reigne of our sovereigne Lady Anne by the grace of God Queen of Great Britaine France & Ireland Defender of the Faith etc and in the yeare of the Lord God one thousand seaven hundred and twelve.
