In the name of God amen the xxvi day of August in the year of Our Lord God one thousand five hundred and eighty and five I Willm Stere of Sprowston being of whole mynde and perfect? remembrance thanks be unto you do make and declare this my last will and testament in writing. Item I gyve and bequeath all my houses lands and tenements being fre and copie to Willm my sonne to holde to hym and to his heyrs forever. Itm I bequeathe to Cycely Stere my daughter one mylcht(?) comb and 5 pounds to be to the said Cecely in forme folowing that is to sey within one halfe yere next after my decease 20 s(shillings) and within one yere next after that 20 s and so from then forth yerely 20 s untill the some of 5 pounds be fully contented and payd. Item I bequeath unto the same Cycely thre pewtr platters and dysshes and one pewter sawcer a brasse ketyll a brasse potte and a bras panne. Itm I gyve to the same Cycely the bed that she lyeth in and all that belong to it and one lynnen shete. Itm I gyve and bequeath to the same Cycely one ewer. Item I gyve and bequeath to Margery my daughter wife of Wilm Harbard 20 s to be paid unto the same Margery in forme following viz within one yere after my decease vi s (shillings) viii d (pence) and so from then forth yerely vi s viiid untyll the said some of 20 s be fully paide. Itm I bequeath unto Thomas Harbard one lambe. Item I forgyve John Stere all suche debts as he to me doth owe. Itm I gyve unto John Cooke one lambe. The resydew of my goods not gyven and bequethed I gyve then to my said sonne Willm whome I ordeyne and make my sole executor he to pay my detts and take my detts and to see thus my testament and last wyll pformed. Theis being witnesses hereunto required John Wade/Wude(?), Geste(?) Pue/Pne(?), Ben Dobs, Robte Mannyng, Roger Corbet and me Christopher(?) Bruse/Butts(?) wth others.
