WILL OF WILLIAM STERRY,
REDGRAVE, SUFFOLK, 1902
This is the last will and testament of me William Sterry of Redgrave farmer made the second day of December 1897. I appoint my Son Robert Sterry of Stanningfield sole Executor of this my Will. I give and bequeath to my grand-daughter Agnes Sterry now living with me the sum of thirty pounds. Also to my said granddaughter Agnes Sterry all the household furniture and effects in the house in which I am living at the time of my decease but in the event of my decease before moving from the house in which I now reside then I bequeath to the said Agnes Sterry the sum of ten pounds in lieu of the furniture before mentioned. I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary the wife of Phillip Hawes now or late supposed to be living at No 5 Argyll Terrace Belle Vue Wakefield the sum of ten pounds free of all duty. The residue of all my estate whatsoever and wheresoever after paying all my just debts and funeral expenses I give to my aforesaid Son Robert Sterry. In witness whereof I have herewith set my hand the day and year first above written.

Signed by the said Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us both present at the same time and we at his request in his presence and in the presence of ech other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses to the mark.

On the 18th day of June, 1902 Probate of this Will was granted at Bury St Edmunds to Robert Sterry, the sole Executor.
