| 26 Feb 2010 | Updated Southwark, Surrey, England line with information from the personal papers of the Rev Francis and Sir Wasey Sterry, kindly provided by Peter Sterry. There is now sufficient evidence to confirm the connection observed by Walter Smith in his book, 'The Sterry Family', between the Southwark and the Ruardean, Gloucestershire, UK lines. These two lines have therefore now been combined into a single family tree reaching back to the marriage of John Sterry and and Alice Bailie at Ruardean, Gloucestershire in 1539. With many thanks to Peter for making his family papers available. The combined Southwark/ Ruardean tree is called the Ruardean, Gloucestershire, UK line. |

'Love Knots & Near Neighbours' tells the story of when David was contacted by someone from the same family line and uncovered some amazing coincidences.
