The information below was kindly provided by Peter Sterry, Bedfordshire, England.

Mr. Robert Sterry was a fish merchant who as his epitaph says " was steady and attentive in his religious duties, regular and honest in his worldly occupations, and kind and indulgent in his domestic conduct." He was drowned with all his crew on 29 may 1807 his age being 40 years. He lost a son Robert by drowning a year before.

Sacred to the memory of Henry Whalting Sterry son of John & Mary Sterry who departed this life 21 October 1848 aged 34 years.

Sacred to the memory of John Sterry who departed this life November 30 1836 aged 63.also Mary wife of the above who died February 11 1841 aged 72 years

Mary the beloved wife of John Sterry who departed this life 29 Oct 1868 aged 65. Also John the beloved husband of Mary Sterry who died 23 November 1885 aged 82 years.

To the memory of Lorina (Hill) the beloved daughter of James & Hannah Sterry who died November 30 1851 aged 15 years also James Masterson their son who died in infancy and of their affectionate mother Hannah the beloved wife of James Sterry who died April 7 1867 aged 67 years
