
COURTS - CIVIL AND ECCLESIASTICAL
This section includes UK civil and ecclesiatical court records such as Court of Chancery, Court of Exchequer, Court of King's (or Queen's Bench) and the Court of Exchequer Chamber. Church courts and secular courts dealt predominately with civil claims, although some also dealt with criminal cases. Manorial courts mainly dealt with property issues but some dealt with some civil and ciminal actions [See Property - UK]
